

Meet Dr. Savanna Pohly, Founder of RX MOVEMENT LLC
For nearly twenty years, Dr. Savanna Pohly has been driven by a single goal: helping people move better and live stronger. Her career began in 2006 in Southern California, working as a Personal Trainer in commercial gyms and privately. But it was her time in the rehabilitation setting—learning from great mentorship as a Physical Therapy Tech, from the region’s top physical therapists—that truly defined her philosophy. During that time, she witnessed the transformative power of correcting muscle imbalances to restore movement and function.
This experience became the foundation for her work in longevity training. Today, Dr. Pohly is dedicated to making professional-grade strength and mobility training accessible to older adults. Whether she is teaching group classes, working with private clients in their homes, or designing programs for senior living communities, her approach remains the same: creating slow, progressive, and evidence-based solutions that promote independence.
Dr. Pohly’s commitment to education is reflected in her academic background. She holds a Doctorate in Education-Kinesiology, a Master’s in Applied Exercise Science, and a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science-Rehabilitation. She is also a NASM-certified Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement specialist, an ACE-certified trainer, and a YogaFit instructor. Through her research on hip strengthening exercises that improve the Sit-to-Stand performance in older adults, she continues to push the industry forward, ensuring that older adults have the strength and confidence to live active lives.
